The Future of Real Estate with Harvard - Startup Cities

We have partnered with the Real Estate Club of Harvard Business School (HBS) & the Real Estate Development (RED) Club of the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD), to discuss the future of real estate with a particular focus on disrupting traditional real estate business models to transform the way we live and work. There are no better companies that exemplify the spirit of innovation in our commercial and residential spaces than Honest Buildings, Ollie, and Camber Creek. Join us for a discussion amongst business leaders from those companies and networking amongst other attendees.

Ollie is a leading micro-housing and co-living platform. In partnership with institutional real estate investors and developers, Ollie revolutionizes the living experience for urban renters through an “all-inclusive living experience” that combines thoughtfully appointed furnished micro-studios and shared suites with extraordinary lifestyle-relevant services, abundant amenities and unique community engagement activities. Ollie has locations in NYC, LA, Boston, Jersey City, and Pittsburgh.

Honest Buildings is an integrated, data-driven project management and procurement platform purpose-built for commercial real estate owners and managers.

Honest Buildings' customers have used the platform to manage over $1 billion in capital projects, making it the most widely used building technology platform of its kind.

The $8 trillion global real estate operations, design, and construction community deserves technology that is second to none. At Honest Buildings, we hope to play a small part in making this community hugely successful as the fabric of our cities depends on it.

Camber Creek contributes in a direct and significant way to the success of its portfolio companies by leveraging the real estate expertise, operating experience and portfolio of assets of its partners, investors, and advisors. Our investment team has investing, operating, and technology experience and expertise across a range of real estate businesses, including construction, property management, development, and leasing. Our investors own, operate and manage over 150 million square feet of real estate in the U.S., giving us a unique competitive advantage as an investor and value-added partner in the real estate technology space.

The Real Estate Club of Harvard Business School (HBS) & the Real Estate Development (RED) Club of Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) will be giving us a preview of their must-attend "Real Estate Weekend @ Harvard" conference on March 24-25. This year's theme is RE_SHAPE, a theme to identify and reconcile the rapidly changing dynamics driving the real estate industry in the 21st century. Also featuring the very popular development workshop, the real estate venture competition and more!

The Startup Cities event series' mission is to create a nexus of information and action. That nexus includes research produced by academics, technology envisioned by entrepreneurs, and support funded by both private and public investors. Each event hopes to champion the ideas making cities more dynamic.
