Perils of Crypto Twitter

Twitter is home to battles galore, and that’s especially true for cryptocurrency enthusiasts. What was once thought a decentralized revolution has centralized at a social media behemoth.

It’s there users find the latest gossip, breaking news, and threads dealing with philosophical disagreements. And as the broader market has increased in value over the years, a lot is riding on being an effective communicator, tweeter — so much so, it’s not unusual to find out this or that account was purchased, bots jamming up comment sections, gaming ratios (negative comments to Likes). One good retweet from a crypto luminary, and a person’s status can change overnight.

Peter Ryan joins the CoinSpice team to carve out a slice for himself on a regular program we’re calling The Peter Ryan Report. It’s his unique take on events and deeper issues, as he attempts to make sense of this crazy, wildcat new world.
